Actually I am too. I seem to remember Alex saying he couldn't get it to work for coding.

Alex if you were, pm me. I am interested in the cable because I want to code and build my own gt1 scanner with an old laptop.

I did get it work, my issue was mostly software. I had a little difficulty locating the correct daten file, or whatever.
