Compression psi? 735i 1990
Does anyone know what the compression psi should be for a 735i 1990? I getting 120-130 from all the cylinders

For the early 90's 6 cilinder engines the book says at least 100 PSI. At 130 you have a poor-decent compression. My opinion. Around 150 I would say decent, over 160 good/great. I have seen for early 90's engines 125 PSI and 185. Before head gasket replacement, valve job and resurfacing it was 125. M50 engine if I recall correctly.

+1: on the low side but still drivable. If you have other problems (low oil pressure; knocks; burning oil etc) and you intend keeping the car - consider a rebuild.
