Should I get extended warranty ?
My fiance just love her 06 330i so much that the car now has 103000 miles on it and she still wanna keep it. Her car bought new and also got extended warranty till 100,000 (yes it ended). All services and maintenance are on time, that what she said. My car yes I'm not willing to drive my car w/o a warranty because it's a 6series (have lots of problems I believe). However, her is 330i, I hope the fixing won't hurt my pocket so much. I checked with auto POM and they give me quote for $3,000 for 36,000 miles more. My question: Is it worth pay $3,000 for that 36,000 miles or it's will be fine to just pay out of my pocket. She planning to put on at least another 50,000 miles. Thanks and all advise are appreciated.

My 2 cents: No. I would keep the money in the bank and pay out of pocket as necessary. Find a good, honest indy (independent mechanic) in your area.
