Thoughts on asking Price '11 M3 coupe

Hi All,

I may be putting my M3 up for sale and was wondering if I could get some feedback from you guys on what I should ask and if there is anyone in So Cal interested, let me know.


Space Gray/Fox Red extended leather coupe, 2011, 24k miles, DCT, 19s, carbon roof, premium audio, NAV, carbon leather trim, almost new Michelin pilot sport (non runflats), always garaged, excellent condition.

My guess would be high 40's to low 50's.

For an '11 I would nudge that a bit higher.

Thanks all for your feedback. I have it listed in the classifieds for $50,995...I don't need to get every last dollar out of it, so looking to find a good home for it with a credible buyer.

Have you looked into the 335IS? If not take a look you might like it. I looked at both M3 and the IS and decided on the IS. I had an M3 before and I prefer the IS...good luck

Hard to compare..they are very different cars, but I'm really liking the 550. Even with the M sport package though it doesn't come close to the handling and road feel of the M3, but I didn't expect it would, but it does darn well for it's size and comfort. The massive low end torque is impressive and the eight speed slush box is a gem. The DCT was a little bit clunky around town at low speeds. The comfort and luxury of the five is very nice. I'm not counting out an M4 in my future though

By the way, the M3 is sold..I got $48,750 for it, so pocketed almost $3k after paying off the lease. Sold it through Craigslist. Was highly disappointed in Auto Trader, got tons of spam and telemarketers from it and not one single quality buyer lead. Their web interface is very kludgy as well.

Glad to you see were able to unload the M3 and sometime you better off going with Craigslist and end up with a quicker sale through their site.
We just bought an M3 vert last week and we also test drove the 535i as well and to tell you the truth my wife really like the ride comfort level and spacious on rear seats. We end up with the M3 and I could not be any happier with this car such as blast to drive.
