drone sound with A/C fan

just this morning, i hear a droning sound on the AC fan blower. its goes louder as i increase the fan speed

anyone had this problem?

It sounds like the blower motor is having an issue. It's right on the passenger foot well, underneath the glove compartment.

yes it is. just curious if anybody had a similar problem.

Not with my F02 (yet), but the E66 has the same notorious blower motor problem. I compared both motor models....exactly the same...except the housing. Cost around $130 to replace.

I've experienced a bad, unusual blower noise on occasion when braking and coming to a short stop; it's happened about 5 times now and sounds as though a fan blade was touching and hitting a piece of paper (not that that's what actually happening, however). Hasn't happened in a couple of months, however.

checked the car myself, and im 95% sure, the a/c blower motor is busted

its not really loud at this point unless its on full blower speed. needs replacement soon after the holidays.
