SMS Text on X3 via Samsung galaxy S3

Does anyone know how to set up text messages on the X3 if I have a Samsung Galaxy S3? I'm struggling. Everything else is paired and working.

I got it to work! Had to up date my Samsung galaxy s3 to jellybean. Works great..no lag.

You have to install the latest updates from BMW. They come from the factory with an older rev, which does not support the Galaxy. You also have to enable it on the phone. And last, you have to then go into messages. It will not "jump" onto the screen like some seem to think. Once you open the Messages menu, you will then see all your messages. You will get a small envelope icon at the top for messages that are received while driving, but not for any unread messages in the phone before you get in the car.

I get some of the messages from a droid razr, but only if the message arrives while it is connected via blue tooth. Is there a BMW software update available yet for ICS/JB level droids?

Thanks for the info...updated to latest software and still no messages. Took it to the dealership and they can't figure it out. They are calling BMW for help....I so hate waiting!!!!!
