Ask how much it would cost to CPO. If they say they can't CPO this car - run away.

Cars not even due for its first oil change.... not sure about all the BMW rules but if they cant run away. If they can and wont they bought the car back and are in for two much.....
Disclaimer: this is only the opinion of a Louisiana boy livin on Okahoma.... : )

I recently bought my similarly equipped 550ix for $11,300 off sticker. Seems like 58k is a decent deal for that car.

Thanks guys I will find out about the CPO, I have spent hours and cant seem to find them cheaper, I know its used and I would love to get it in the 54-55 Range but with these options It seems impossible unless I wait longer. Carfax is clean and they were the original sellers of the car.

Not bad. Most of the packages are useful. Does it have adaptive drive?

It only has what I listed, The special crusie control I would never use, Only thing I wish it had I think is Active Roll Stabilization otherwise its pretty loaded i think.

Check either the NADA guide or kbb and see how much it's worth. I'd say it's a good deal for a 2012.

Grab a carfax too, just in case that car has been wrecked and is the reason they won't CPO it, V/r, Tim.

I've heard that cars that have been in an accident cannot be CPO'd....be sure that's not the reason. It costs the dealer money to do it and they may think the market will not pay it, but if you are offering to pay the extra CPO cost it's a no brainer. It may also require they replace the tires or brakes if they are past a certain point of wear, so it can get expensive on top of the warranty cost that the dealer has to pay BMW.

No CPO.....I'd start at 50k. CPO is pretty cheap for the dealer. I have a very decently optioned 550xi sport (non msport) with only 3800 miles on it pristine. No smoke, no stories, just a perfect car and no way I'd let it go for cheap. Even trade in for my car dealer trade in should be in the 56-57--which is nuts. An equivalent 550xi 2013 with my options is going towards 80k.
They can throw in the CPO. BTW, I traded 1 year old pristine 2011 535xi with under 3k on it and the dealer certified it. You run into problems when BMW discounts a new car so much vs. a used car even with new models. Push against the dealer and have them throw in the warranty. With the year end (really, during most of the year you can get good deals) I don't see the logic in buying used. You're still paying big bucks for a car. It's not in the 10-15k shopping segment. If you're will got go for the big buck, 55 tp 65k shouldn't be that big of a hump to jump. In the leasing game, it makes no sense. You go for the newer model with the better options.

I would not buy it unless it was CPO'd. There is a reason why they won't CPO it. It costs the dealer very little.
