Battery/Alternator issue
If the battery light is on shouldnt it cut off once the alternator kicks in? Im not sure which of the 2 the problem is or if its both?
My battery has been done for a while now but the car cut off on me while driving! |

how do you know the battery is bad?
did you get it tested? if the battery is good id get the alternator tested then

If the battery light is on all the time, I'd think your alternator isn't adequately charging the battery, which is why it dies on you.

Well for starters I have a feeling it might not even be the right size and no I havent tested it yet but will tomorrow at the shop when I start.

step one: confirm battery is proper unit and fully charged.
step two: confirm state of charging system. step three: light goes out when fixed. simple, right?? ![]() you'll need a dvom and some basic hand tools. df
