The Death of my 2000 528i...

T'was a grief stricken season of cheer for myself... As my first bimmer has been laid to rest. I live in North Bay in Canada. It's very cold and we get tons of snow! On my way home to see my family for christmas, I began my 6 hour drive only to have it ruthlessly cut short by a huge patch of black ice! Terrible indeed :'( . Anyways, I was going the speed limit, paying attention and everything, it all happened so fast I didn't even have time to steer away from the guard rail that my car had collided with on the passenger side. My car is now a write off! Although my love affair with my beautiful e39 has come to an end, I enjoyed. The year I had her and I am now offcially a bmw fanboy after having owned one. Looking to the future, I'm most likely going to go for a 2001 330xi , as it's faster, lighter, and is more safe for the white north with bmw's amazing x drive awd system. I'm sold! It's a beautiful car too inside and out, and I found a red one locally for 5000 CDN plus 500 for certification and etest, and come with a 3 year warranty if I choose ( probably not ill do the work myself). Oh and did I mention, its RED . When I get promoted to Master Corporal, ill buy an E39 M5, as that truly is my dream car. So people with M5 experience, what is the best year for the E39 M5?
