have an easy to reach instrument cluster?

I'd be grateful if someone out there could give me two different widths and height of this area on the instrument cluster (1st attached pic). I want to put the various lights from my v1 into the cluster but my planning can only go so far without taking out the cluster to get some measurements. If you have a cluster nearby and can take a few measurements that would be very cool. I'm also looking for a cheap used or broken one on line (actually anyone know which different model's clusters are sized just like the e93 m3 cluster, not including the gauges, I'm going to have to cut up the plastic area so I'd like a dash that's the same size in all the different areas on the cluster.

First pic is the area i'm thinking of using, looking for a measurement if you have a cluster sitting in front of you....

Second pic is kinda what I'm aiming for. See he separated the arrow lights from the v1 and moved them into the middle of his cluster. Credit to "puzzled" here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ter-61800.html
