E30 immobiliser bypass
Firstly I'd like to thank Chris Deegan, who ever you are, for excellent tutorial on how to swap a dash... I couldn't have done it with out it.
However when I pulled the glove box out the immobilizer switch , which I didn't know I had, broke off. I've cut the wires and bypassed it so it starts but I'm afraid I may fry the ECU. I'm gonna take to an auto electrician after the holidays and I don't plan to drive it much but I'm worried about causing some permanent damage to the ECU, fuel pump or anything expensive like that. Any thoughts or opinions on this matter would be greatly appriciated. Thanks and hope you all have a great new year
