need hose diagrams for m62tu
Hey guys, so my fan exploded a couple days ago (grrrrrrrr) and destroyed my hood, and cut a bunch of lines in the front. I could really use a diagram of the hoses up front so I can order all the right parts asap so I can fix it. Almost every line possible is cut (including one going to the oil filter housing). thanks in advance!

Go here:
http://www.penskeparts.com/fiche.aspx or here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ You will need the last 7 numbers of your Vin#. You will not only get the part numbers you need, but will also see a diagram of the hoses, etc. Be aware that the diagrams are generic and sometimes not very accurate. |

There are at least three different reasons WHY a fan would just 'explode' on you ... so it behooves you to figure out which one it was.
The bestlinks will be your friend in that quest. See also: - Pictorial look at typical E39 cooling system failure modes (1)

Possible reasons: 1) I already figured that out 2) first priority is getting my daily driver back in running condition I am sure that your heart is in the right place, but honestly, I am also quite sure that you are neurotic and obsessive compulsive (often bumping years old dead threads to add a post with 60 semi (ir)relevant links) Thanks to the earlier posters, I appreciate the relevant (and helpful) links. |
