Center Console Lighter

Can anyone confirm if the outside ring light on the center console lighter socket lights up at all? The lighter socket appears to be the same part as the one on the dash (which does light up of course)...Called dealer and they said to bring it in for them to check, but a simple yes/no would be great before going through that hassle...thanks

Only the one in the dash lights up. The one in the center console doesn't and neither do the two in the back seat. It also doesn't matter if you have dummies in them or not. All of mine have dummies. I tried putting a lighter in one of sockets in the back and it still doesn't light up.
