Extended Warranty
Hi Guys, recently got 2009 328i Convertible. BMW warranty expires next November so was looking for extended warranty options since last week. Contacted BMW dealers - Nova, So Cal and Florida - and some others but the rate I got from Carchex was the best/lowest.
PM me if you're looking for extended warranty with good rates and I will refer you to my contact. Thanks, |

Yep, checked with them as well.
I got 5/100000 for 3K expiring 12/17 Dan said he can't match that even if he went to some aftermarket options. (with $50 deductible) Last edited by jaytank; 01-02-2013 at 05:56 AM. |

This posting is timely for me: I am looking now for extended warranty coverage. I've gotten linked up with Nationwide Warranties and gotten quoted for $2480, 4 years unlimited mileage and wear & tear coverage ($200 deductible). The coverage fine print makes me believe this is a "stated components" coverage policy, which makes me nervous. Anyone out there done anything with this company? Good, bad, ugly?
jaytank: did you end up going with Carchex? (Sounds like it from your posts but want to be sure.) If yes, I will gladly take that contact info. |

I got my warranty for about $2,400; it is exclusionary and covers wear and tear, 5yr/72k miles from inception. It has a $100 deductible. It is from www.TierOneWarranty.com. I don't think they sell directly. I'm sure they can direct you to a re-seller. It appears the marketing company I purchased from is no longer in business.
I have been satisfied with Tier One so far. I've used the warranty twice, as recently as last month.

I have AUL warranty. $100.00 deductible. Had to use them once for bad O2 sensors. No problems so far.
