Bmw e39 528i
Had my bmw put on a diagnostic today and it came back with air mass flow sensor and crank shaft sensor anyway would the MAF cause car to stall or run roughly and loss of power when warmed up as i was told my bm wouldnt start if it was the crank sensor they said at the garage that it was 80 per cent my MAF any ideas appreciated got to pick up new MAF in the mornin.

Test drive it with the MAF disconnected ,if it is toast the car should not stall . Or you can try to clean the MAF and try that first.
