BSW supplied the entire 6-speaker set (all but subwoofers). they were a very simple plug&play installation, no alterations to existing wiring or mounting locations. Cost was excellent at approx $250.
very clear, easily heard at speed, top up or down.

ordering was simple from their website. Shipping was prompt.

They also supply ipod-sat radio integration hardware.

BSW does not have a speaker replacement set for the F12/F06 yet. It could be possible that the E92 set (shallower than the E90 Sedan) may fit.

Can I buy a portable hard drive like the Seagate 3TB, download my music, and play the music thru the USB port in the center enclosure or glove box? If so, how would I format the hard drive, and how should I keep a charge on the hard-drive while listening?

I just had a Reus Audio System installed in my 550 that already had the premium sound system. It sounds great. My 4th system with them. It truly is a "system" designed specifically for your particular car that adds on and works with the existing premium sound system. Really a fair price for the end result. Was actually cheaper than going to a high end shop and letting them install off the shelf components. Feel free to PM for more info.

Yes... search for "A2DP".

As you can see, the kbps standard is quite wide.

So two devices can transmit lossless music via BT at different rates, creating lossy music?

No current smartphone transmit lossless, even via USB. And the Combox can only handle a max of 320kbps anyways.

Put it this way, between BT Audio and an MP3 encoded at 320kbps played via the USB the MP3 will sound better.

Why does the BT audio not transmit at 320kbps or higher? If so, then why is there not one standard?
