530i computer problems
Hi,
Need your expert's opinion: My 2004 BMW 530i used to stop couple times in cold starting but after 5 min it ran nomally. Few days ago the car stoped (dead) on the road. A BMW shop (not the dealer) says the computer is bad and can get the part only from the dealer. The part cost is about $1300 and labor is about 400. Is this sounds reasonable or do I have any other option? Thanks in advance, Peter
