Wheel problem

I just went to install my winter tire/wheel that I purchased from tire rack..bought sport edition A7 black 17" with Bridgestone blizzak...but the technician couldn't install them due to hub diameter issues. Has anyone had such issues? I confirmed this with tire rack sales associate before purchasing them! Any recommendations?
