E39 (1997 - 2003)

Adding Angel Eyes to stock Xeon headlights?
I have a 2000 528i with stock Xeon headlights. Is it possible to add Angel Eyes to the stock headlights?

The guy I bought it from added newer designed headlights, but they have HID in them, nor self leveling, so the light output is less than stock. Would it be better to add HID to the aftermarket headlights that he has in there?

The aftermarket lights he installed looks like this:
