A-Pillar Issue

The fabric from my old A-Pillars were becoming very loose so I bought new ones. After installing them today, I noticed that when looking at the cabin through the windshield I can see whats behind the A-Pillars (slight gap between the pillar and frame). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the old ones only to realize that this may not be a new issue.

Any thoughts??? It really bothers me that there are no clips that snap them into place.

Also the HFS tabs don't clip in to place with the new ones???

I just did my headliner and all pillars. The A pillars have a torx screw up at the top and you have to make sure the bottom fits into the dash correctly. A pillars have a tab coming off the bottom. Did you make sure your A-pillars have this bottom tab that locks into the dash? I'll check my car tomorrow, but I think your A-pillars are not fitting correctly. Actually I know you'res are off. B/c When I put mine back in last week I can see windshield matrix from the inside . So I know I cannot see anything from the outside.

I can see the windshield matrix from the inside. I made sure the tab was in properly, everything seems right, but when looking in from the outside at an angle I can see a preview of whats behind the pillar.

I wish the vertical part closest to the window snapped in to place. There is a bit of play when you push the part of the pillar inward as if to try and snap it in place...

I'll look at mine tomorrow morning.

Sorry for the late reply. But I checked both pillars today. Cannot see behind them. Not even close. Is windshield stock? Maybe it's a aftermarket and the matrix is not correct. just a thought.
