halogen conversion
Have been shopping for new headlights and cant find much. i like the oem headlights on the mid 2000s m5 and e39s with the hids. is it a plug and play if i where to purchase them from the dealer? once they are hids?? just not sure if 98 is wired differently than the newer e39.

Fitting later-model lights onto earlier cars is almost impossible, due to the differences in connectors. Good Luck.
