Maps update
Hi guys, Can I update my maps in my F02 (2009) by my self with going to the dealer? and if I can HOW I can do it?

MY2009 F01/F02 vehicles need to have the navigation database updated by the dealer. It is not entirely clear why as later models (MY2010 on) can be updated with a USB drive purchased from BMW and a FSC code. It's going to be pretty costly as the dealer will also charge for labor. Please keep in mind this is for the US market. I see that you live in the UAE, so things may be different.

Map updates
Have got a 2012 can I also use bimmer tech to update the maps on my own or have to purchase the USB from the dealer
