transmission pan gaskett

Hey guys,new member here.I have been told that my 2006 330xi with 68000miles needs to have a transmission pan gaskett replaced.I was told that the pan and gaskett are one part not two separate parts- is this true and if so what am I'm looking at for repair costs??? Thanks for your input-demar1
