1995 525i WON'T START

Recently purchased a '95 525i that has been sitting for a few years. Bought the car started fine, i believe all the locks went up and down when using the trunk/driver's door. It came with one key, it did not come with a remote-button key to work locks. Car started and drove fine (275k+ miles) for about 2 weeks then went to move it on street sweeping day and the car would not start. I put the key in and all the lights turn but the car would not crank, i would just hear a click coming from the back (I suspect from the anti-theft box under the left backseat). Also i sometimes hear like a "grrrr-ing" noise sometimes when i try and start it, could it be a fuel pump problem ? Although after it didn't start i messed around with the locks (as a friend told me to do) and i locked/unlocked the doors from the drivers side and trunk. Waited about an hour and the car started up fine. Drove it and parked it and went to go start it again and wouldn't start. Thought it had something to do with the locks but then it wouldn't start for about a month, no matter what i did to it (I put new spark plugs in it, got another key made for it and gave it a new battery since the old battery was dead). And still would not start. After about a month of trying it for some reason starting again, took the opportunity and drove it down to a friend's shop to get it diagnosed by a computer and the computer read it had a voltage reading problem (already had new battery in when tested) and it couldn't read "Key 5 and 6". I drove it home, waited until nightfall, tried it again and wouldn't start. Could these things be the problem, I don't understand why it would work for a day then not for 3 weeks. ALSO, when i put my key in to unlock the driver's side door the lock does not go up or down, it just stays constantly unlocked and none of the other locks in the car respond, only the backseat left lock when i put the key in the passenger side door, the drivers side window doesnt roll up or down just came off the tracks and also the anti-theft light flashes until i put the key in. Could the lock system be the problem ? WHY would it work for a few hours then not work for many days, could it be a fuel problem (from that grr noise i hear sometimes when i try to start it) or a problem with the anti-theft system ?

I didn't read your whopping paragraph, but I can tell that this is an EWS problem.

Window jumping off tracks stinks of theft attempts. Damage to the lock electrics or its connectors?

Have you checked the crankshaft position sensor?

Swap the relay out with a same colored one from the fusebox.
If you don't know which relay is your fuel pump relay, pull the relays in your e-box one by one with the car running and see which one makes it slowly stop running.
