Just a heads up guys/gals. Although this was probably a fake account he used... this guy is a scammer, promised a mint mirror, instead sent one that leaked, was opened/cleaned and needed a repair since all the liquid was gone from the mirror. Seems to be my luck that I manage to find a lot of guys like this selling used bimmer parts...

Thanks for the heads up, but there's a reason you don't buy from people with low post counts....

I know, I know...

The price was too good to pass. Even after I had it repaired, it's still not a bad deal.

Quoted for posterity.....I'm blown away.

If it didn't function at all as you allude to knowing above, it certainly wasn't "mint" and that's blatant false advertising. The buyer could file a case against you for false descriptions and breach of implied merchantability, you completely ripped him off REGARDLESS OF PRICE if you didn't tell him it didn't function at all.

Just..... wow.

Just some facts about the "mint" mirror. As far as reflecting fine, the mirror had four images of each object in it:

There are also marks along the seam of the case that show that the mirror has been previously open (probably for cleaning of the fluid residue) and as the result the internal tabs are broken and the case does not stay fully closed on one side:
