X3 3.0i scanner codes 2882 & 2883. What are these?
My X3 3.0i check engine light is on. Used a scanner and it gives me codes 2882 & 2883. What do these mean?

If my memory is right it's a lean code...
I'm going to take two guesses... 1) you have a 2004-2006 x3 2) it's a cracked intake throttle boot, dirty MAF, or a failing ccv/pcv. Most likely the cracked boot. Very common on the m54

faulty/dirty MAF - clean it
ICV / PCV Fuel Filter may need replacement
