I'm very happy to live where I do. I'm just as interested in living in other cultures. Spent almost a month and a half this last year in Haiti doing NGO photography work. Really a eye opener to 40% of the world in significant poverty. I really don't have a whole lot to complain about.

yep your right. Similar experience for me in Thailand. My (now deceased) uncle migrated there and learnt the local language and so fourth, so we got the real experience, not the tourist one. the facade for tourists is actually a VERY thin blanket there. Certinaly wouldnt want to live there. Singapore however is the opposite, that would be my favourite city/country i have been to, and I've been through quite a few incl some in the USA. never been to continental Europe though

Why did you like Singapore? I may have to add that to the list. Where were you at in the US? I haven't been to a whole lot of places but I am rather young.

Here are some of my reasons:
- You have not seen a clean city until you go there. Instant $200 fine if you drop so much as a cigarette butt, however police presence has dropped a lot in the last 10 years or so due to everyone realising the difference it makes.
- No polutting cars as everything over 7 years cannot be registered on the road.
- And everyone is incredibly friendly and the food is good too.
- Climate is like summer all year round. Rainy season is actually nice.
- But the single biggest attraction to me is the fact that they have had a right wing government in power for over 40 years, and it shows. they went from literally a nothing city to a leading city in the world for commerce and IT etc. What is the next 40 years going to bring?

I want to live there for 6 months in the near future and see how i go living there, but i dont think migrating there just yet is right untill i get a good financial backing here. Housing is very expencive compared to here, 70-80% of people rent there.

as for cities in the USA, just California/Nevada really so i really do not have a rounded view to be fair. But i have been to LA San Dieago and Las Vegas while living in Anahiem for quite some time. Its strange but i just didnt feel overly safe there. I will be careful what i say seeing as this is an american forum, but i found a scary proportion of people, although friendly, quite arrogant/ignorant. I also cant stand the accent, its a good job i dont have to hear you guys i just read you

Wow, Singapore sounds very interesting. Looked at spending a year in Denmark partly because of there rather strange economic system and the education system. Its not completely off the table just expensive.

Haiti is a rather discussing country. I don't think the country even has a landfill or insidorator. After they are done drinking something they simply thrust it out a window of there car or toss it in a ditch along the road and go on with there lives.

I haven't spent anytime on the east coast so you have more experience then I do. Most right-wingers wish California would just fall off the continental US. Or just leave there shenanigans out of are lives. Too be honest there a reasons why I don't go near the city. Want a be gangbangers, culture is horrid.

Their is no real way to express how I feel about city the people who live in cities. That doesn't mean good people don't live there just a plethora of .

Haven't seen many updates from you guys. Those lizards are neat looking. We have a lot of wild lizards here in Fl, the iguanas are actually a nuisance here, they are in all the canals and crap all over our boats/sidewalks etc. We had a cold snap last year that killed a lot the non-native reptiles and fish. People really need to stop releasing them in the wild after their kids get sick of them. Anacondas, those sucker fish from the fish tanks were laying on the banks by the 100's.

we are currently still just feeding and cleaning them. we won't have any "real" updates till breeding season, which could be any day now.

ya it is a Stuff assignment.

modified cars a fairly common here, a good proportion of them are Ford Falcons or Holden Commodores, both australian made bogan-mobiles. Then you have Lancer GSRs and Subaru WRXs etc like anywhere else, of course no Cobalts or Scions etc because they dont sell here because we are a RHD country and USA forget about RHD lol. The euro scene virtually doesnt exist here either, and where it does, its about half BMWs. Noone mods Mercs VWs and Audi's, about the closest you get are 1970s Mercs. You see a few E30s with locked diffs etc for skidding, but I'm talking about tidy presentable cars.

I didnt think i would be back. and then i came back lol

Got three old school BBS RA's for $100 a few days ago. They are all in good shape. Two are 15x6 and one is 15x7. If you guys know anyone with a 15x7 they are willing to let go let me know. I'll post up a photo later. Currently don't have a computer with me and haven't been home for a couple days.
