Question E34 brake light

The brake light warning comes on when the brakes applied the first time. I have changed the bulb twice with BMW OEM bulbs, but the light continues. Will the reset tool extinguish or do I need to discharge the computer as illustrated in the video?

You say that you changed the bulb twice. Do you actually have a bulb out? Does the warning say "Brake Light Circuit" or "Brake Light"? If it says "Brake Light", then you have either a bad bulb or a bad wire. Don't forget to check the third brake light at the back glass. If it says "Brake Light Circuit", then you have to replace the brake light switch as advised above.

This is true. OP does say that it comes on when the pedal is pressed which is a bulb out. Could be a fuse or bad wire...
