Ordered 2013 X5 50i

Just took the car to the dealer for checking the alignment. I told them to provide me with the current specs. The car does pull a little to the right and is more noticeable at low speeds. From reading and being part of other alignment threads, I am interested to see where the toe is set. I will keep you posted.

That's pretty harsh but whatever. If you want to check out their website I can surely send it to you. I have been in their dyno room when they were doing some R&D work on a regular 87 octane 350 V8 that had dual superchargers and at the flywheel it produced 2,000+ HP. Now that's no slouch. Maybe I should have mentioned that they are the leaders in Supercharging. Did not realize I needed to go into every minute detail, that's why I said "on a side note". Yes, I meant replacing.

Superchargers require horsepower just to run where Turbos do not require HP to run. There is no need to add 2 superchargers which actually doubles the para-static HP drag on the motor effectively reducing the HP even more. You are not going to get any more HP or boost out of an X5 using 2 instead of 1 Supercharger. Actually I don't know of a single street car and not 1/4 miler that actually has more than one SC.

Agreed, two SCs would be overkill and wasted for this application. I have only see it in R&D work, turbos are a completely different story though with the temp of the boosted air. I get to hear these discussions with each visit to their plant. I like all discussions about HP and speed. They have some VERY fast Mustangs, Corvettes, Harleys and even jet-skis and ATVs.

Here are the alignment specs. Told them to set the toe closer to .01 - .02 and the camber looks way off on the rear. Am I reading this right? Negative 1.31 and 1.29 with the fronts at negative .03 and .06. Need some quick advice prior to pickup.

Prolly too late.

You told them right, but they just didnt follow your instructions. Your toe in the rear was BETTER BEFORE they changed it!

They gave you more toe in the rear, more toe on the right front.

That drives me nuts- especially when you say DO THIS.

The specs appear to be 0.0 to 0.10 for the front

0.02 to 0.08 for the rear.

Note their spec is 0.05 target, wwith a 'plus-minus' of 0.05 on the front; 0.03 on the rear.
