Price on brand new/leftover 2012 335i coupe?

Buddy of mine is looking at E92 335i coupes and found one at his nearby dealership.

It's a 2012, so they must have been sitting on it for a while. I wonder if it's been "punched"

Pretty much fully loaded, so it's quite attractive in that sense. M-sport, Premium, Nav, CA, etc. etc. MSRP ~$55,750

What do you think is a good price for this one?

The only other recent point of reference I have is this thread, where the OP or his friend bought a 2013 335i for 5.5k below invoice.

It's hard to say. If it hasn't been punched it could be a situation where the dealer might be able to sell a 2013 for a lower price. Dealers are absolutely loathe to sell a new unit at a loss if they don't have some way to write it off.

Yeah, that was one of my first questions too (whether it's been punched).

And ultimately they're going to have to sell it one way or another.

$44k selling price, less 4k trade on a KBB value of 5k +TTL

Was not punched, so warranty+Maintenance clock began today

OP, clock's tickin' for your dealer - interest accrues just about every day. Evidently, unit hasn't moved. Wondering why, but hey....

You must ask them: Do they want to sell this car? If yes, make 'em an offer more favorable than what you have so far.

Thanks! I just saw their photos and I'm a little jealous. On top of all the options I listed earlier, it has the 230 Style wheels.
