I just bought a BMW 325i and it shows up this warning sign , not sure what it means..
if someone can share a view on this it would be helpful for me to fix this.. it shows a exclamation inside a triangle..besides the Parking sign..wat does that mean?? I have attached a image of the warning that it shows on the dash board Thanks |

Low pressure tire monitor. The triangle with exclamation point is just indicating that there is an alert.

The little warning sign at the top right corner of the display that shows "P" means there is some sort of warning currently active. This could include the fact that you have your seatbelt unfastened, that your low fuel warning light is on, etc etc. It just means there is some sort of warning.
Judging by the tire warning above it all, I would presume that once you clear the low tire warning it will also turn away. If not, there is a means to look up all active warnings. Reading the manual is your friend. Welcome!

I performed a reset for flat tire by just parking at one place and all the warnings went off. guess it was just a faulty result before.
thanks for the help.. |

Ok. but did you actually check the tire pressures (when cold) with the tire pressure gauge?

Not the way to do it. If you just reset the system it could accept the low pressure as baseline. You need to check your pressure, as said above.

thanks guys had got that fixed by actually checking the tire pressure.
one more question, when it shows any error like suppose a "brake error" and if we reset it would it clear it out, or you have to fix it to clear it?? |

I don't think something as critical as brake issue could just be reset to clear the warning. Why would someone want to do that anyway without actually fixing the problem...

New Owner trying to decode warning symbols
I'm a very newbee owner by 3-weeks. It appears I have similar warning symbols as "pratik" (see attached). This past weekend, I had a big RED bold explaination mark with triangle warning... took it in to dealer, they found a nail in one of the tires, plugged it and all was good until about 2 days ago then the other symbols
