E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

Sport mode? (might be a stupid question)
Not sure about this since the only 1er I've ever been in is my own 128i. But, did the 1ers ever come with a sport mode button on the center console or shift lever like what is found on a lot of the other BMW models?

I think I found the answer. It looks like it was only available on later model years with the N55 and SMG.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? |

No, you are correct. With most all BMW's, the "sport" button is a recent add in the past couple years. Not talking M's of course.
