2010 E70 one touch window issue
Im having no luck searching for any info regarding the one touch feature on a 2010 E70. Both front driver and passenger side decided to go out today. The function works fine going down, but not up. This doesnt sound like a mechanical failure. What are the chances of both windows having the exact same issue. So reading other E series posting, taking apart the door panel to check a failing regulator, probably isnt the best trouble shooting at this moment. Many have said to reinitialize/re-program. Now, if anyone out there encountered this same issue, please let me know what the fix is.
Oh, and another thing, the rear windows are fine. thanks Last edited by dannydao; 01-11-2013 at 05:10 PM. |

IIRC, roll all they down, then all the way up, hold for few secs, and you get one touch back.

I've tried that a couple of times. And everytime I did that, the window goes into this lock mode. It doesnt come back down. Now, maybe im doing it wrong. When I rolled it down, i click on hold it down, then rolled it back up by lifting the switch all the way up, past the initial click. Once the window becomes locked, I would have to let it sit for about 5 minutes or so in order for it to become operable again.
