Rusted batt compartment
My daughter's battery is listing right and falling through the floor. I have it supported with a board against the right side plus a tie-down. Does someone make a repair kit?

Hate to say it, but the fix here involves cutting out the rusted out battery tray, any other infected metal, welding in new sheet metal, sealing it and repainting.

truth, but just for a point to refer to, here's a breakdown...http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/s...ssembly=256945
the battery 'tray' itself is rather cheap, but not (usually) the only thing needing to be replaced... ![]() df
