Angry over it

dealership is trying to rob me again! How much does it cost to replace the front lower control arm bushings? They are also telling me I have an oil leak at vacuum pump!

Find yourself an independent repair shop. I do not know the cost but if it is the dealer it is already too much.

The bushings themselves are about $50 each (you need 2). You can only change them once then the entire control arm requires replacing ($200 each). You stamp a triangle into the control arm to indicate the bushing has been replaced once so the next time around the mechanic knows to change the entire arm.

The dealer "official" install procedure requires a lot of labor to install. You can do them in about 1 hour if you use shortcuts, but the dealer will probably charge 2 hours labor.

This is a simple job so I would not use an official dealer for the repair. An indie will probably charge half as much.

The vacuum pump oil leak is common, do a search, I'm sure someone has mentioned what it cost them to fix.
