Need scanner?
Any good ones out there that you recommend. Looking for one that can read engine codes srs codes and many more also live PCM and graph data stream. For my e39, also would be nice to be able to use it on other vehicles as well. Any available at a decent price? Thnx

Browse the Stickies. You won't get all that for $100!
There are solutions out there that involve the use of a cable and laptop. Some of the software I've seen tends to be arcane in its readouts, at best, and difficult to load onto an XP machine. You are describing a professional tool that can cost $5-10K, esp when you throw in using it on other brands of cars. Take a look at the AutoXray EZ Scan 7000. It may satisfy some on your needs.
