Z3 finding the series type
I'm new to BMW but I'm having the hardest time finding which series my Z3 is. Any help out there? thanks a bunch.

In what way? All the Z3s are the same series.
They are all of the E36 family. E36/7 for the roadsters and E36/8 for the Coupes. Three basic breakdowns for the roadsters. 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and M. There was a refresh of the body in 1999 - 2000 time frame.
