Hello again all,
Just got the valve cover gasket and starter done. Now for the suspension. Was wondering - I use the 328i as a daily driver, but since I am TOTALLY confused about the spring issue (one is broken in the back and I don't know if I have the M tech suspension and therefore would need an mtech spring or 4 new springs altogether), what if I do something like the raceland coilovers? Seems like a nice inexepensive deal for a vehicle that rarely goes above the 3.5-4k rpm mark? What does one need to install these? Is it any more difficult than say the installation of 4 shocks/springs? Thoughts? |

Well, the time for a suspension fix is close:
The car tends to now slowly move to the right on a straight road, thought I might as well get everything done now. Can anyone tell me if used springs for the rear are a good idea: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271146649656...84.m1438.l2649 Since the above are just OEM springs would I need sport shocks or would touring/normal ones do? or how about these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/181072091607...84.m1438.l2649 Would these need sport shocks since they will lower the rear by 35mm? Btw, any feedback on Vogtland springs? If I do front and rear shocks I was thinking of using these. Plus: front control arm bushings and ball joints (outer) swaybar links + bushings (rear too). Rear shock mounts, bump stops etc.. Anything else I need to replace while the above is being done? Last edited by bmw_novice; 02-13-2013 at 07:06 PM. |
