minnesota to california... hurry home, this VW passat rental isn't cutting it!

My last car was a 2002 VW Passat. It's nickname was the Passh*t.

I just dropped off a 2012 Dodge Challenger Hemi R/T rental (6 speed manual no less) and when I got back in the ZHP I said "Dang i love this car!" Wouldn't trade it for the 400hp behemoth ever! May your ZHP travel safely. I bet she'll like Cali weather a lot better than MN.

My nickname no longer seems suitable for my own experience, then.

ha, thx! btw, what are turn signal laws here (i know i'm being lazy). i current have white lenses all around with white blinking front, side, and rears.

Just make sure you don't signal when the cop pulls you over

They seem to care more about no front license plate which is required in CA and believe or not I was once pulled over for that with the 650. It was a fixit ticket and I now have holes in my front bumper

Not sure if you are moving to nor or so cal, but if you drive to Tahoe or Mammoth, be prepared to carry chains in the winter. Two snow flakes and CatTrans shuts the whole freeway down and checks fro chains on 2WD cars. For someone who lived where there is a lot of snow, that is just ridiculous and a waste of tax money.

About front license plates, that might vary by area. Around here, everyone and their mother don't have front plates and the cops don't care. None of our cars have front plates and nobody gives us crap for it.

At the dealership when I picked up the cars, they do make you sign a document that says "we won't install it, but you acknowledge that it is law in Calfornia", or something like that. I'll post it here if I can find it in the old paperwork.
