You're spoiling the kid, tx. Plus, it is dangerous to put a car with that much horsepower in a new drivers hands. You should start him off with something safe, like a Subaru Impreza base. All wheel drive, not too much power. You got to bring him along gradually.

question.... speaking of starting their kids off wit hsomething safe..... anyone have powerwheels for their kids.... and if you do... do you mod them??!

I have three for mine..... 1 for speed, one for offraod, and one for style.. lol Dont mean to HJ the thread  , but since we brought up kids and cars... and corvettes in a bmw forum lol

We like speed and control. Couple years back I got a large slot car track. We now find ourselves tweaking the cars to gain speed over the other.
We have spent a huge amount of time at the track in our study.
