Used Car dealer not paying off my trade!! HELP!

Called my lender today. They show they received a check Friday. The day before it's due. Still a crappy business practice. Took them 35 calendar days to pay the car off. BS in my book.

So what's your next move?

1- make sure the payoff goes through. 2- make sure Lincoln voids/refunds my emergency payment. 3- keep the complaint open with the FL DMV license division. They can decide if it's over the law or not. 4- Never do business with these small joke dealers again. 5- Check my credit. What else can I do?

True. To be honest, I wonder what would of happen if I never called them about this. I just really don't appreciate doing business with a dealer that lies about payment going out 3 difference times and waits to the utter last minute to may car trade off. That shows me they could give a F'k less about my credit or anything.

ABC Action news just did a story on them this week!!!!! Jan 10 2013. So it wasn't just me...
