Hi everyone,

In a snowy parking lot in Winnipeg on a chilly Sunday evening on the way to see Gangster Squad (recommended!), I found myself with the DSC turned off (on purpose) and I was mid-slide when I noticed the following graphic on the cluster (see attached). The graphic disappeared as I emerged from the stuntman-like manoeuvre and all that remained was the "DSC disabled" logo.

I stopped the car, put it to park, and powered down. Waited about 30 seconds, controlled my panic attack, powered her back on, and all was right as rain.

Drove gingerly and everything continued to seem fine; gave a bit of power around a snowy corner, and the DSC kicked in as usual. Drove home about 15km and no issues hence. Needless to say this hasn't happened before and I was... worried.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is the disabling of the systems a precautionary measure when the car feels it is in an "uncontrolled" movement or is this something more serious which I should get inspected?

Lesson learned, don't play in the snow.

Thanks in advance!
Ryan
