they are ecu upgrades out here and yes are crap but oetuning, ess tuning and diana are not. Nothing wrong with wanting to add a little more power. If you really want to get more hp add the ess tuning supercharger. Its about $9,000 but cheaper than a b7.

the hp gain shold not be the center of focus.... but the timing should be... I know our cars are heavily computerized but with a chip &ecu flash the timing can be set towards performance and get better 0-60 times and fuel efficiency and better whp....

yea OEtuning did a performance reflash on my b7 i had massive gains
i felt the gains were too much for the tranny so i took it off i think the only thing that will go out after you do the tune will be the tranny i dunno why they made such a crappy transmission on a 7 |

honestly i havent even tried looking into that
its just the design of the "valve body" if im not mistaken theres an updated valve body for the pre LCI e65/66 around 1200-1500 If you still end up doing the tune try to "punch" it when its in further gears eg: 3to4 4to5 and when getting off the gas EASEE off the gas . snapping the throttle back WILL do domage to mounts eg: engine , trany , diffrential |
