Invoice question on 2013 X5d

OK, just wanted everyone's opinion here. BMWconfig.com doesn't have any info yet for the 2013 X5d. I used the numbers from the 2012 list and when I went to the dealer, they said their invoice price is a straight 7% off from MSRP. This gave a number some $7-800 higher than the 2012 numbers I had from BMWconfig.com yet it seems to me that if the MSRP of the car didn't change, than the invoice probably didn't either.

Two questions then.
1) Is the dealer padding theirs using the 7% of MSRP figure
2) Are 2013 invoice for X5d the same as for 2012.

FWIW, when I was negotiating my dealer came back with a number using the 7% too. I had a build sheet from another dealer that had the actual#'s on it, and the number was closer to 8% which made for a difference of approx $650 in my case. We made the deal based on the real invoice and not the 7% invoice, if that makes sense. I chalked it up to another learning experience. If we don't have the facts and we take what they say as fact, there can be a big difference in #'s. Got to stay on top of it or they will find a way to get another $ out of the deal.

I had the same 7% line, real invoice was closer to 8 as well.

I would try to see if trucar can list you the factory invoice (they usually are spot on with some of the data they provide).

The invoice for 13 is very similar to 12. I think everything is the same except it's $100 more for the premium package in 13.

I got my 2013 x35i Premium for 50,295 and then the options just want to know if I got a good deal? Still have to pick up the car.
