Hi everyone! I finally have a reason to participate :)

I've used bimmerfest as a resource for just about everything I've needed to learn about my BMW...until recently I had a 90 750il and it was the most beautiful car! Sadly, I lost it and I'm still heartbroken over it.

My husband came home a couple months ago with a 94 540i which was in pretty bad shape - he's been working daily at fixing stuff and it seems there will be no end. in the course of acquiring parts for this new found car desperately in need of some TLC, he has also acquired a 2000 540i (12/1999) (minus the engine and transmission)...i've spent the better part of last week organizing and we're ready to part it out.

I know I'm going to have some questions for you all...maybe I'll have some answers for you too! I'm glad to be finally contributing to something that has saved my husband and I so much time and been a fun learning experience for us both!
