Your 6er is pretty slick... I like the M Parallels... Nice, I almost chose those for my Shark but settled on E39 Style 5 BBS... When I was looking at wheels, it came down to M System II's (M5 Throwing Stars) M Parallels (Like yours) and Style 5's.... The BBS's looked semi period which is why I went with them.. My reserve is still undecided... I have had a BUNCH of people offering me cash all day long on the car, and a few that would have paid me in a second... I didn't expect the car to be as popular as it was due to the fact that I customized so much of the E24... Didn't think people would care for my style! I am trying to decide if I am going to let her go.... Bimmerfest 2013 is coming up, so maybe I will test the waters there as well! Cheers Greg |

cooL, thx man, well M paralels in 19" look reaLLy fat
mine are only 18" with 265 ,35 at the back. ________ 19" , thats what i am really after, but obviosly 19" means a lot more expensive tyres and the 19" M parallel aLLoys are rare too, unless you buy them brand new and thats a fortune, ive seen them on one of my mates bimmer......proper` proper` fat i am telling u u cudnt go wrong with that. your 635 is wicked, wicked wicked, if i was you defo i wudnt sell it mate. keep it another 10 years and u will see that was the best decision! _________________ 635 csi NOT FOR SALE hahahaha LOL

Welcome!
18'' fill the wheel well properly so... Mine are 17' and I am quite pleased with the ratio... Have any more plans for your E24?? Yeah I am debating every single day on parting with my shark nose killer.... She has been restored to my liking, except I still have a few other things to do to her... And now that I know I have been on the right track as far as my style is concerned... I will be installing OEM ///M Tech Side skirts, fender flares that I sourced NOS from a member here!! Wicked buy, and lucky pick on my part... They will finish her off nicely, and then I will have pretty much a full ///M package installed.. I have been also looking at an old school Alpina front lip spoiler.... We shall see! |

well sounds like you got some work to do on ur luvly 6`er. Side skirts ? oh yeah..i thought of that too :P , WELL.... apart from them 19" M _parallels that i would like to get my hands on , the only thing i want to do....is fit a manual gearbox, and a turbo to mine, or some mechanics have already suggested to fit a supercharger! after that just drive it , we will see , beside this, im happy with the way my 6`er is to be honest, B7 alpina and M version are very very very rare in United Kingdom, and very very expensive, some can reach 15.000 £ even 19.000£. i would love to have one of them. but im being gratefull with what i got. its still a nice piece rite? Nice!!
Yeah the B7's are costly.... I had an E28 M5 with the S38 Engine and MT, and I was wanting to put the S38 Motorsport Engine in my 6er along with the Manual gearbox but there is a lot of work involved in that, so I may hold off.. Auto to Manual swap overs are a time consuming project and even though it is well worth it, I am happy with another conversion I am working on right now... When it is all finished and ready I will be offering a kit for BMW EH Transmissions to allow something better and more F1 inspired! Too bad you are in the UK... I am owner of www.bavarian500.com we are a BMW Rally down to bimmerfest in Southern California! |
