Will these rims work?

I found 18 in rims for (i feel) a good price. They are from a 2004 525. I have a 2000 528i.
Here are some specs:
rims model number 105-8JJX18 5-holes ET15
Distance between lug nut holes - 7 cm
Distance from center of wheel to center of lug nut holes - 6 cm
Diameter of center hole in wheel - 7.4 cm
inside diameter of wheel - 44.6 cm
width of the tires - 23.5 cm
offset ET15
Will these work on my 528 the way it is or will modifications be needed?

Thanks for any helpful input!

Well It really depends on what you'd want to do.
I think the two basic options are to get them machined to spec or get wheel spacers/hub adaptors.

I've personally done neither so I cant really tell you price stuff.

Check out this thread though:

It looks like some guys got quoted for both

You will need to bore out the center to 74.1

+1. As illezte39 says you will need the center bore enlarged to 74.1mm since the e60 wheels you are attempting to buy are too small at 72.56mm . If you cannot find a shop to bore the wheels out search for hub-adapters. H&R makes trak hub adapters that will allow you to run those wheels safely.

You all missed this part in OP's first post (I make it bold) The dimension in "cm" throws you all off They are NOT OEM wheels for E60 so there's a very good chance that the hub-bore is NOT 72.56mm

Distance from center of wheel to center of lug nut holes - 6 cm

width of the tires - 23.5 cm
offset ET15<-- Offset is fine for 8" width wheel to fit on your E39

It seems like they would fit with NO modification nedded. Ask the seller if he used hub-rings on his car. He should have them. If he didn't and have no vibration, the dimension is not correct.
