F12/F13 code to deactivate orange night time mode in cluster

Edit-- After going back to the car after an hour it turned back to orange. I recoded it and it went back to white, but again after about 10min it goes back to orange.

Either way the way to do it was already found by JEG23 a while ago http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...851&highlight=

I really hope this works on the F10 as well because i prefer the white cluster/HUD lights over the orange!

I would see what Jeg23 has to say about this. Jeg. Does your cluster revert back to orange after 10 minutes? I find it hard to believe after coding it would revert back but if u also confirm this, then is code is a bust.

His code is the right code, the one i posted was completely different.

It does not. The previous poster just did not read carefully the code to see it is different. This change here is permanent.

The only minor issue is that the navi screen does not go into night mode automatically (which I find it to be too obscure anyway). You can do this manually. Otherwise, it gives you a fantastic white cluster all the time.
