heater issue

My heat gets a little cooler at idle. It still blows warm air but not to my liking. The anti freeze is at its appropriate level and it is bled properly. What gadget is failing. I also dont get heat to the rear or passenger vents. I know nothing about these heater systems. Thanks

flush your heater core

flush the heater core as in the cooling system? What about the passenger vents blowing cold? Im thinking its the climate control dial?

Why? No matter what temp you select, if you have an air lock or part blocked core the heater won't work..

Im getting heat on the drivers side vents. No rear heat or passenger heat. Thats why I im suspecting the climate control for the pass side. The rear I have no idea....the vents blow cold. Im an lost in understanding the inner working of the heater on these cars. If I get heat through the heater shouldnt it blow heat throughout the car?

It depends on the construction of the core. The rear heat is determined by the driver's temp setting. Sounds like you have flap control problems inside the heater box. I don't envy you this one at all.

lol well that sounds promising!! I have a spare I can throw in. Is it a PIA to replace?
