Steering wheel shake after M Par hu boring! Help

So I brought a set of E38 M pars to a reputable machine shop and had them bored to 74.1 mm. After finished I had them balanced and mounted and now feel a shake in the steering wheel between 40-50 mph. What Can I do to fix this this problem? Also what can I do if the hub is slightly off(too big)? I apologize a head of time is this question was already submitted in this forum..

Did you have the shakes before, if not take them back to the shop and have them measure the bore again. the hub cannot be too big but can rust and that will feel like it is big . you can clean the rust off with a wire brush.

light shaking between 40-50 usually refers to bad balancing of the front wheels.

To add: is there a lot of balancing 'lead' on the wheels atm? This would indicate the wheels were 'off' either due to not being entirely straight or due to the bore process having been done incorrectly.

If there is little lead on the wheels then I would guess it needs better balancing.

Is the hub on the car too big? Then the wheel would never fit...
If the hole in the wheel is too big get plastic filler rings

Do a search for "hub rings" or "senc rings" I think there called. Seems to have fixed the issue you discribe.

If the hub-bore is bigger than 74.1mm, that machine shop is not doing a good job. You have to had it measure and use hub rings as suggested.

I have had the wheels mounted and balanced twice since I had the wheels bored and there is the safe amount of lead weights on wheels to assume they are balanced correctly. I had real bad experience with the co that bored the wheels they were supposed to do a complete restore and when I went to pick them up they looked like ****, so I told them I ain't paying for this, ill pay just for the boring and finally they agreed after a multitude of threats. There are only 2 machine shops in the NYC area that bore rims and I guess I have to go all the to Queens to see the other company to get there opinion. Sound good?
